Real Madrid Liverpool’s Senegalese sensation
Mohamed Sissoko believes that Liverpool star Sadio Mane will end up signing for Real Madrid.
Mane has bagged 14 Premier League goals in seven assists so far this season, as Liverpool surged to a 25-point lead over Manchester City, before the campaign was halted due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
“I see Mane at Real Madrid [more than Mohamed Salah],” Sissoko told EuropaCalcio.it.
“He [Mane] has the characteristics that [Zinedine] Zidane wants, I think Mane will go to Real Madrid.
“I don’t know if Salah will continue at Liverpool. If he left, his departure could be good for the team.
“Liverpool are very smart and would know how to replace him.”
Another player linked to Real Madrid has been Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, and Sissoko believes that the Frenchman would prefer to rejoin Juventus.
“I know Zidane loves Pogba,” Sissoko said. “But he would like to return to Juventus.
“That though doesn’t depend on Pogba, but also on Manchester United, as he has a contract until 2021.
“I think Paul needs to find a team that makes him feel important.”
Finally, with the Coronavirus decimating world football Sissoko indicated that now everyone is getting the whole story from France.
“The media aren’t telling the full story about what is happening in France,” he stated. “Not everyone is respecting the quarantine/
“You have to be patient, and then life will be back to normal as soon as possible.
“Football is secondary to all of this.”
Sissoko played for the likes of Liverpool, Juventus as well as Valencia and Levante, while also winning 33 caps for Mali.
