Real Madrid A move suits all parties
Gianluigi Buffon‘s Paris Saint-Germain exit has opened the door for Keylor Navas to arrive at the Parc des Princes, with the Ligue 1 side keen on luring the Costa Rican to the French capital.
Keylor has known for almost three weeks now that he’s not in Real Madrid‘s plans for next season and PSG have arrived to offer him an exit from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
MARCA have learnt that discussions have already begun and that things are moving nicely towards finding an agreement.
The 32-year-old will move to the Parc des Princes where he’ll compete with Alphonse Areola for the No.1 spot. Last season, the Frenchman played 31 games compared to Buffon‘s 25, while he leaked 27 goals, two more than the Italian’s 25.
Whatever his role in Paris, Keylor is confident the he’ll have enough playing time to keep him happy, while PSG will value his experience. All parties expect a move to be easily struck up, with Madrid expected to accommodate his departure as a goodwill gesture.
Despite the fact that conversations are still at their very early stages, there is a belief that agreements could be reached very soon and that Keylor could be settling into another European capital in the near future.
