Ice Skating at Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex

Ice skaters are silhouetted by the colorful spotlights illuminating the rink during the skating period following the Federal Hockey League match between the Thunderbirds and Danville on Friday night, Jan. 11 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex in Winston-Salem.The Thunderbirds will face the Port Huron Prowlers on Saturday night.The rink is open for skating for two hours after games on most weekends and Saturdays. With proof of admission to the game, skaters are granted free access to skate from 9 to 11 p.m.Skates are available for rental at a fee of $3. Without admission to the game, the fee to skate is the same price as a regular day, $7, not including rental skates.
