Real Madrid have completed the signing of Reinier Jesus from Flamengo for a fee of 30 million euros. The 18-year-old has penned a deal until June 30, 2026. Reinier will play for Real Madrid Castilla until the end of the season.
Edinson Cavani seems set to depart Paris Saint-Germain this month, so L’Equipe have offered some potential replacements: Olivier Giroud, Krzysztof Piatek, Gonzalo Higuain and Fernando Llorente amongst others.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has stated that the club have made an offer for Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen.
Alaves have sealed a deal to bring in Roberto Jimenez from West Ham United on loan until the end of the season.
Espanyol bolstered their defence on Monday with the arrival of Leandro Cabrera from Getafe. Los Periquitos paid the Uruguayan centre-back’s nine million euro release clause.
Lyon have brought in Villarreal striker Karl Toko Ekambi on loan for four million euros, with the option to buy for 11.5m euros plus four million euros in add-ons.

22.10. Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has revealed to Sky Sports that the Nerazzurri have made a bid for Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen: “We’re trying. He’s a great player and so it’s normal that a lot of people are considering him. It is complicated, but we will try to bring him in. We’ve made an official offer and now we’re waiting.”
21.19. Osasuna have made Juan Perez a first-team player, with the youth team product now set to wear the No.25 shirt. Until now, the goalkeeper had worn the No.26, despite playing a key role for the Pamplona-based side in the first half of the season.

20.50. Racing Santander right-back Aitor Bunuel will not join Eibar this month, MARCA can report. Instead, it is more likely that he will arrive in the summer.
20.35. It was just a matter of making it official. And it already is. Karl Toko Ekambi has joined Lyon from Villarreal on loan until the end of the season. The loan fee is four million euros and this is accompanied by a purchase option of 11.5 million euros, which could raise by four million euros if add-ons are taken into account. There is a 15 percent sell-on fee included, too (50 percent if before 15/09/2020).

Espanyol completed the signing of Leandro Cabrera this morning, but sporting director Rufete has said that there could be more incomings at the RCDE Stadium: “We are working and possibly something else can happen at the end of the window. We are doing it in the best way possible. Yesterday Raul de Tomas scored and Leandro Cabrera can now compete in the Copa del Rey. We are adding more players to the cause. We have one week left to reorder the squad with some additions and departures.”
20.05. Southampton midfielder Oriol Romeu is the player Celta Vigo have identified as the ideal replacement for Stanislav Lobotka, who has left to join Napoli. However, the fee that Southampton would demand, coupled with the player’s wage demands, are two big obstacles that Celta would have to overcome.
19.50. Barcelona have signed Rey Manaj from Albacete for two million euros, with the Albanian striker set to play for Barcelona B. He has penned a deal until June 30, 2023, and he has a release clause of 50 million euros.

18.57. Manchester United could face competition from Manchester City in the race to sign Sporting CP captain Bruno Fernandes, according to the Portuguese newspaper Correio de Manha. City, they say, would be willing to pay 100 million euros for Fernandes at the end of the season.
18.29. Paris Saint-Germain are looking at options in the event that they allow Edinson Cavani to depart the club this month, say L’Equipe. The French newspaper has offered a list of potential replacements: Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud, AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek, Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain, Dries Mertens or Fernando Llorente from Napoli, and Cagliari’s Joao Pedro.

15:53. Napoli have confirmed the signing of Amir Rrahmani from Hellas Verona for 14 million euros, but he will stay on loan at the Mastini.
14:57. Atletico Madrid could have competition for Edinson Cavani after Frank Lampard was asked about the Uruguayan striker in a press conference on Monday, suggesting interest in the player.

10:15. PSG sporting director Leonardo has categorically denied that Layvin Kurzawa will be leaving the club in January. “We have never had a offer, zero, for Kurzawa. He plays a lot of games. He is a player who has just signed a new contract, but we have not heard anything. Arsenal have never called,” he said.

9:33. According to the German newspaper Bild, Bayern Munich have expressed an interest in Achraf Hakimi. The Moroccan defender who plays for Borussia Dortmund on loan from Real Madrid is having a great season in the Bundesliga. Bayern scouts were watching the match against Augsburg.
