Premier League High demands to continue
Pep Guardiola’s contract doesn’t run out until 2021, but he could reportedly look to leave Manchester City at the end of this season.
The Premier League champions are well behind Liverpool in this season’s title race and the Catalan coach may look to exercise an escape clause in his deal that would see him depart next summer.
As a result, Manchester City would have to fulfil Guardiola‘s demands in order for him to stay.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Guardiola has asked for various radical changes at the club, both in his playing squad and on his coaching staff.
Part of these demands includes making three signings, of two defenders and a forward.
As well as this, he will seek a replacement for assistant coach Mikel Arteta, who has left to take charge at Arsenal, with Rodolfo Borrel reportedly his preferred choice.
