Serie A Not daunted by his post-playing days
Cristiano Ronaldo has been thinking about life away from football for a while now and he’s not fearful of what awaits him.
The Portuguese is coming into the final years of his career, and he’s admitted that his post-playing days are something that he’s given thought to.
“In the last five years I’ve begun thinking about my life outside of football,” he said to SPORTbible.
“I’m enjoying the process, so who knows what will happen in the next year or two?”
Cristiano‘s workrate has always been phenomenal, which he says is down to his obsession with winning rather than because he enjoys training.
“I’m not obsessed with training,” he said, “I’m obsessed with success, which is completely different.
“I love to entertain fans and people who love Cristiano. No matter the age, it’s all about mentality.”
But the Portuguese doesn’t base his game off anyone else, and he only looks to be himself.
“You have to be yourself all the time,” he explained.
“But you can always pick up small details, not only from football but from other sports too.
“Even CEOs of big companies are also motivated to work hard and achieve big things.”
