Juventus’ Champions League exit may have sparked all kinds of rumours about the future of their star forward Cristiano Ronaldo, but Massimiliano Allegri has dismissed them and stated that the Portuguese will be staying in Turin.
The coach praised the work of the player in his first year in Italy and looked ahead to the coming seasons.
“Ronaldo is the future of Juventus,” he said at a press conference.
“He is an extraordinary player who has had a great season and he’ll have a great one next year.
“He is relaxed, even though he is disappointed like we all are.
“We’ve exited a competition we thought we could win.”
Allegri also stated that the No.7 would play in the team’s Saturday Serie A game against Fiorentina.
