After his contract with Besiktas was terminated, veteran defender Pepe has joined Porto on a free transfer.
Economic issues at the Turkish club resulted in the club allowing him to walk away from his deal and he has now returned to an old stomping ground.
Porto have confirmed that the former Real Madrid defender has penned a two-and-a-half year deal at the Dragao.
The Portugal international will also link up with goalkeeper Iker Casillas once more, having played with him at Los Blancos from 2007 to 2015.
There was also an offer on the table for the 35-year-old from Thierry Henry‘s Monaco, but he decided against it.
