Danish forward Nicklas Bendtner‘s sentence for assaulting a taxi driver has commenced, with the player now wearing an electronic tag on his ankle.
Currently at Norwegian side Rosenborg, Bendtner ran into trouble in September when he broke the jaw of a taxi driver.
The confident former Juventus, Arsenal and Wolfsburg forward, who in 2013 said that his next club would be Barcelona or Real Madrid, had been arguing with his girlfriend in the taxi and, after failing to agree on who would pay the fare, the pair left.
Annoyed, the driver followed them and Bendtner reacted by throwing him to ground, where he punched and kicked him.
Bendtner, who was made to compensate the driver and pay the costs of the trial, also has a number of precious scandals to his name.
